About Us

Ankush graduated with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery from India in 2005 & moved to NZ in 2010. He has worked at Hospitals & private practices in NZ & overseas before owning his own practice in Matamata. Being a second-generation dentist he has a purpose in every smile he creates and every case he oversees.
Ankush has been working on complex cosmetic and implant dentistry cases over the years & has placed thousands of Implants & crowns for his patients. Ankush continues to learn, grow and stay at the absolute forefront of innovation and technology. He is trained in Sedation & attends multiple conferences in country & abroad to upskill himself. He & his dentist wife Swati have brought many new technologies to the practices they own including All-on-4 & digital dentistry.
He is deeply connected to his profession & has been a Registered Mentor to many young dentists in NZ. He believes in actively participates in imparting dental education to the young dentists. Being a clinical consultant at his other practices he makes sure a top-quality dental treatment is given to all. His welcoming personality and an ability to patiently listen provides a comforting care to all of patients.
Away from work Ankush sponsors & is involved with the St. John ambulance. He is also a part of local sports clubs (Matamata Rugby Club, Matamata Squash Club, Matamata Peddlers Club, Karate club). He loves to play squash in his spare time & is a tri-athlete with recently finished Taupo Ironman 70.3.

Swati graduated in Bachelors of Dental Surgery from India in 2005 & moved to New Zealand in 2010. She along with her husband Ankush owns multiple practices & works mainly in Applecross House Dentists in Matamata & as a consultant dentist at her other Practices. She is very passionate about giving good smiles to her patients & has over the years focused on complex cosmetic & Implant dentistry. Her welcoming personality & ability to connect to her patients provides an added level of personal care to all her patients. She has earned a reputation of being a “ gentle dentist “ which helps people overcome the fear of dentistry & feel relaxed in the dental chair.
Away from work Swati loves to travel & Tramp the Great Walks of NZ. She loves to run when she can & loves to make nice salads to complement her runs.

Dr. Faris is a New zealand registered dentist with over 25 years of experience. She has been working in New Zealand for more than 20 years. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a particular interest in restorative dentistry and minor oral surgery. She is continuously attending educational courses to keep updated in the latest developments to provide the best dental care for her patients. She is also passionate about working with children of all ages.

Dr. Faris always understands many people feel anxious and nervous when it comes to dental treatment, but her highly professional and caring character always makes her patients feel comfortable. Patients always leave with a big smile on their faces, as she builds a great relationship with them and makes them feel confident about all their treatment being done.

Dr. Panchia graduated from the University of Otago in 1992 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

Manisa has always lived in Auckland. She has been at Glen Innes Dental Centre since 2003 and has developed a loyal patient base. She has a friendly and caring chairside manner, immediately putting her patients at ease. She is passionate about delivering high quality general dentistry in the fantastic community of Glen Innes. Her special interest areas are restorative dentistry and endodontics (root canal therapy).
Manisa finds immense reward in improving a patient’s quality of life by restoring their dental health.

Manisa regularly attends dental conferences and courses, in order to provide the best dental care for her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys the art and culture scene and spending time with family and friends.

Hi, my name is Sam and I am originally from England but I grew up in Tokyo, Japan for 11 years and lived in Orange County, California for a year and half for University. I moved to New Zealand to join my family almost 20 years ago and have studied and earned a Diploma in Hospitality Management here.
I am the receptionist at Glen Innes Dental Centre and I have worked here since 2011.
I am the voice on the phone and the face (usually accompanied by my trademark laugh!) that greets you. I know most of our patients by name, and love getting to know them. I do also sometimes chairside assist which I do enjoy as it also broadens my knowledge of dentistry. I love my job and enjoy every minute of it. I love to help our patients as much as I can.
Here at the clinic, patients are welcomed and treated by a team that I am proud to be a part of, as we strive to make every patient’s visit a pleasant one.

I am Sanju Uthpala Hettiarachchi from Sri Lanka working as a dental assistant at Glen Innes Dental Centre since June 2023. I have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management back in Sri Lanka. In addition to the hotel industry, I have worked very skilfully in different fields like preschool education and childcare due to my interest and desire to learn different things. I think that my ability of adapting to any environment and my quick learning skills are the best strengths I own. I see the great opportunity of becoming a dental assistant as a turning point in my career path. What I love the most about it; is the awesome staff and friendly patients I deal with, everyday at Glen Innes Dental Centre. I am very fond of this job and always ensure that patients are feeling relaxed and comfortable. I love cooking, hand crafting and travelling in my leisure time.

Zaenb first joined the clinic in 2009 and soon after, completed her NZDA Certificate in Dental Assisting.

She loves interacting with patients and has vast experience in assisting with treatments offered at the clinic.

She has a calm, cheerful and kind personality and strives to make every customer interaction a positive one
