With a CBCT scan, we are able to plan treatments with precision and deliver predictable, accurate results. Dr Ankush Bajaj - Practice owner & Dentist
Ankush has been working on complex cosmetic and implant dentistry cases over the years & has placed thousands of Implants & crowns for his patients. Ankush continues to learn, grow and stay at the absolute forefront of innovation and technology. He is also trained in IV Sedation, Gas Sedation & advanced resuscitation. He attends multiple conferences in the country & abroad to upskill himself. He & Swati have brought many new technologies to the practices they own including All-on-4 & digital dentistry. He is deeply connected to his profession & has been a registered mentor to many young dentists in NZ . Being a clinical consultant at his other practices he makes sure a top-quality dental treatment is given to all. His welcoming personality and an ability to patiently listen provides a comforting care to all of patients.
Dr Swati Bajaj - Practice owner & Dentist
Swati graduated in Bachelors of Dental Surgery from India in 2005 & moved to New Zealand in 2010. She along with her husband Ankush owns multiple practices & works as a consultant dentist at her Practices. She is very passionate about giving good smiles to her patients & has over the years focused on complex cosmetic & Implant dentistry. Her welcoming personality & ability to connect to her patients provides an added level of personal care to all her patients. She has earned a reputation of being a “ gentle dentist “ which helps people overcome the fear of dentistry & feel relaxed in the dental chair.

Hi, my name is Sam and I am originally from England but I grew up in Tokyo, Japan for 11 years and lived in Orange County, California for a year and half for University. I moved to New Zealand to join my family almost 20 years ago and have studied and earned a Diploma in Hospitality Management here.
I am the receptionist at Glen Innes Dental Centre and I have worked here since 2011.
I am the voice on the phone and the face (usually accompanied by my trademark laugh!) that greets you. I know most of our patients by name, and love getting to know them. I do also sometimes chairside assist which I do enjoy as it also broadens my knowledge of dentistry. I love my job and enjoy every minute of it. I love to help our patients as much as I can.
Here at the clinic, patients are welcomed and treated by a team that I am proud to be a part of, as we strive to make every patient’s visit a pleasant one.
Sanju Uthpala Hettiarachchi
Dental Assistant
I am Sanju Uthpala Hettiarachchi from Sri Lanka working as a dental assistant at Glen Innes Dental Centre since June 2023. I have successfully completed a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management back in Sri Lanka. In addition to the hotel industry, I have worked very skilfully in different fields like preschool education and childcare due to my interest and desire to learn different things. I think that my ability of adapting to any environment and my quick learning skills are the best strengths I own. I see the great opportunity of becoming a dental assistant as a turning point in my career path. What I love the most about it; is the awesome staff and friendly patients I deal with, everyday at Glen Innes Dental Centre. I am very fond of this job and always ensure that patients are feeling relaxed and comfortable. I love cooking, hand crafting and travelling in my leisure time.
