There are many reasons as to why you may have damaged teeth

Accidents and injuries happen, and this can often leave teeth cracked, chipped or broken. If you are noticing your teeth are gradually wearing down, you may be grinding your teeth. These issues can cause your teeth to become weakened and sensitive.

Every dental case is different, and we will need to see you for a personalised consultation before giving you your options, but there is more there is usually more one option available to improve your smile or prevent future damage.

Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers are ultra-thin, custom-made porcelain laminates bonded directly to the teeth. Veneers can rebuild broken down teeth, replace lost enamel and give a lifelike cosmetic result.

Neuromuscular/TMJ Treatment

For those with teeth damage caused by grinding, we can use advanced techniques in neuromuscular treatment. By using speciality equipment, we can find the correct bite that will prevent further grinding and subsequent damage.

Preventative Night Guard

If your grinding habit is caught early, sometimes your recommendation for treatment can be as simple as wearing a guard at night to protect your teeth from further damage.

Snap-on-Smile

A snap-on-smile is a removable device which temporarily transforms the way your teeth look.

How long is the treatment?

  • Porcelain Veneers – 4-6 weeks
  • Neuromuscular/ TMJ Treatment – treatment time varies per case
  • Night Guard – 1-2 weeks
  • Snap on Smile – 6-8 weeks

How long does it last?

  • Porcelain Veneers – 10 to 20+ years
  • Neuromuscular/ TMJ – varies depending on treatment choice
  • Nightguard – depends on rate of wear, up to 5 years
  • Snap on Smile – up to 3 years

The reality is many dental procedures cause discomfort of differing levels depending on the type and severity of the procedure. Our priority is to ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout all procedures. We also offer the option of sedation if you would prefer to sleep during treatment due to nerves or lengthy appointments.
